Rackin’ ’em up. As of February 5th, Cody Johnson has officially earned six new gold/platinum certifications from the Recording Industry Association of America. The new certifications feature songs from Cody’s last three albums, “Ain’t Nothin’ to It” (2019), “Human: The Double Album” (2021) and “Leather” (2023). The best of the best. Back in August of last year, George Strait, along with Chris Stapleton and Little Big Town, played back to back shows at the Nissan Stadium In Nashville, Tennessee. Although Chris and LBG got to finish their sets, The King’s was cut short the second night due to lightning in the vicinity, leaving fans frustrated that they paid for a full show but received an hour and a half less time from George compared to the night before.
