I’d pay GOOD money to witness this many legendary artists on one stage again. Back in 2015, (which is now ten years ago, holy sh*t), a plethora of country music’s biggest stars teamed up at the Moody Theater in Austin, Texas to pay tribute to the legendary, Waylon Jennings. Nearly two years later, CMT aired the special event for those who weren’t able to make it out to the Lonestar state, titled Outlaw: Celebrating the Music of Waylon Jennings. Throughout the event, fans witnessed a performance of “Lonesome, On’ry and Mean” from Eric Church, a cover of “I Ain’t Living…

We need a cover album ASAP. It’s no secret (or at least it shouldn’t be anyway), that Zach Top is emerging himself as one of the biggest country artists in the genre. While Morgan Wallen and Zach Bryan overwhelmingly dominate streaming numbers, Top is bringing back that traditional 80’s and 90’s sound country music fans clearly still crave, and doing it extremely well I might add. While his original music, especially the songs from his recent sophomore studio album, “Cold Beer & Country Music,” are nothing short of incredible, the man does every artist before him justice when he adds his smooth and twangy vocals into the mix.…
We need a studio version of this immediately. Back in 2020, Chris Stapleton and his wife, Morgane, stopped by the Bobby Bones show and performed a cover of Lee Ann Womack’s signature hit song from the year 2000, “I Hope You Dance.” Written by Mark Sanders and Tia Sillers, the 2x platinum certified song featured harmonies from Sons Of The Desert and is still the only No. 1 both artists have had in their careers to this day. I Hope You Dance went on to win Single Of The Year at both the 2001 CMA Awards and ACM’s, as well as a Grammy for Best Country Song.…
Like Brad Paisley said; “two of the best we’ve got.” Back in 2016, George Strait and Alan Jackson teamed up for a joint performance of their iconic hits, “Remember When” and “Troubadour” at the 50th annual CMA Awards. While the CMA’s (and just about every award show, to be honest) have seen their credibility diminish, (as well as their ratings), there’s still been a handful of moments to celebrate over the years, and this is definitely one of them. Alan wrote Remember When as a tribute to his wife, and released the track back in October of 2003 as the…
Looks like 2025 is gonna be another big year for Morgan Wallen. This past Friday, the 31 year-old singer/songwriter released the highly-anticipated title track to his upcoming album, “I’m The Problem,” and although OG fans have criticized Wallen on social media for not keeping the final mix similar to the demo he teased earlier last year, the song has been met with positive reactions overall. Love it or hate it, “I’m The Problem” debuted at #1 on U.S. Spotify with 2.53 million streams in its first day. It’s also currently the fifth biggest song debut of the year on Spotify…
