Country music is once again being represented in Chicago this year.
Just moments ago, Lollapalooza (typically known for alternative punk rock, heavy metal, hip hop, and electronic dance music), officially announced the lineup for their 2024 festival and it includes some of country’s hottest rising acts.
Headliners for the diverse, four-day event include Sabrina Carpenter, Olivia Rodrigo, A$AP ROCKY, Korn, Gracie Abrams, Tyler, The Creator, and a first time country headliner in Luke Combs. Other country acts featured in this year’s bill include Wyatt Flores, Sierra Ferrell, Ole 60, Graham Barham, Colby Acuff, Willow Avalon and Max McNown.
Lollapalooza will run from July 31st- August 3rd at Grant Park and features over a whopping 170 total acts. While some in the comments are complaining about this year’s lineup (because of course they are, it’s the internet), fans of all genres (including country) should be able to find at least a few acts they enjoy.
Although we haven’t seen a country headliner at Lallapalooza in quite some time (maybe if ever, to be honest), this isn’t the first time the genre has made its way into the 4-day festival. Over the last two years, the lineup featured the likes of Lainey Wilson, Treaty Oak Revival, Megan Moroney, Sam Barber, The Red Clay Strays and more.
