Global superstar Morgan Wallen is going back to his roots amid his critically-acclaimed One Night At a Time World Tour, with the Morgan Wallen Foundation (MWF) giving back to East Tennessee — specifically Jefferson City, approximately 40 minutes from where he grew up — with a $100,000 donation.

Growing up, Wallen’s little league baseball team often frequented the Roy Harmon Little League Park in Jefferson City, fostering his love for the sport once and for all. With these fields desperately needing renovations in more recent years, the “Last Night” singer is sharing $100,000 with the community to improve and renovate said fields, with $80,000 going toward Roy Harmon Field via the City Parks Department and $20,000 going toward New Market Field via the Jefferson City Little League.

From new infields to dugouts to fencing and beyond, these renovations are certain to improve the livelihood of East Tennessee’s aspiring baseball aficionados, set to impact approximately 300 children in and around Jefferson City.

“The Morgan Wallen Foundation combines my love of sports, music and community service. Without sports and music, I don’t know where I’d be. I know my life would look a whole lot different, so I want to give great opportunities to kids in these areas. In addition, MWF lends a helping hand when we see communities in need,” Wallen shared about his organization.

Naturally, the Jefferson City Little League President, Robbie Britt, and the Mayor of Jefferson City, Mitch Cain, appreciate this donation from the Morgan Wallen Foundation in particular, as it will be a huge improvement to their community in regards to today’s youth.

Britt gushed, “Local little league is a pillar of the community. It creates a foundation for families to come together and enjoy an American pastime while teaching our youth skills beyond baseball. We’d like to thank the Morgan Wallen Foundation for all their support.”

Similarly, Cain spilled, “Jefferson City is pleased to be a recipient of funding from the Morgan Wallen Foundation. This engagement is not only a financial donation, but an investment in the future health of our city. This resource allows us to install much-needed improvements in our recreational facilities. These investments will benefit our kids, their families and this community for years to come.”

“As a Public Servant, this is one of the most inspiring community projects I’ve been involved in over the past 15 years. Investing in people is one of the greatest priorities of city government, and this partnership with the Morgan Wallen Foundation has provided Jefferson City with a very bright future. On behalf of the citizens of Jefferson City, we thank the Morgan Wallen Foundation for partnering with us,” he added.
