Putting an indefinite break to his summer touring dates, “Redneck Crazy” singer Tyler Farr was recently involved in a motor vehicle accident.
Set to perform at today’s (June 13) Goshen Stampede in Goshen, Connecticut, the festival announced just this morning that Farr would no longer be able to perform after being taken to the hospital and “diagnosed with a severe concussion.” Farr’s team reposted the statement to his social media as well, with no further details announced about the future of his other upcoming stops.
The 3 Day music festival hosted by Country 92.5 extended their well wishes for a speedy recovery, with a local band, David Foster and the All Stars stepping in for tonight’s performance. As for the Stampede they assured event attendees, “we’re excited to get down, dirty and country with 2 HUGE rodeos, truck pulls, monster trucks, great food, carnival rides and family fun!”
With his most recent EP Quit Bein’ Country released just this past November, the 2010’s country staple and father to a five-year-old daughter is also known to be an avid outdoorsman. The southern-Missouri native now currently lives on a rural property in Tennessee, presumably where the incident occurred.
Farr is also set to take the stage next Saturday, June 20, alongside Gretchen Wilson, Jordan Davis, and Caiden Wallace at the Boots & Brews Country Music Festival in Morgan Hill, California. As of right now, no official remarks have been made on his attendance but we wish Tyler a speedy recovery.
