I’m not emotional, you are.
Last night, legendary country music singer, Alan Jackson, closed out his touring career with one final performance at Nashville’s Nissan Stadium. Taking the stage for an estimated 70,000 fans, the “Remember When” singer had quite the star-studded lineup to help send him off into retirement.
From George Strait to Eric Church, Jon Pardi, Carrie Underwood, Luke Combs, Lee Ann Womack and many more, some of the biggest names in all of country music showed up to pay their respects to one of the greatest of all time.
And for the artists who couldn’t make it, pre-recorded video’s were submitted and aired live ahead of Alan’s set thanking him for his impact on the country genre and congratulating him on a MASSIVE career that has spanned almost four decades.
While Taylor Swift’s video message might be the talk of the internet, arguably country music’s current biggest star, Ella Langley, also had a message for Alan, admitting that she was “jealous” of everyone who got to attend.
“If we could all just have half of the career that you’ve had, then all of our dreams would be made. I’m jealous of everyone who gets to see your last show. I was I could be there… I’m just honored that I get to even be here at the time that Alan Jackson was putting out music.
