Glad to see Jon Pardi’s divorce hasn’t killed his good spirits completely.
In fact, I think the 41-year-old “Dirt On My Boots” singer is on quite the post-breakup redemption arc. He’s back to vlogging his tour stops, constantly posting updates on his Instagram stories, bought a new puppy, and is back in the gym working on his fitness journey.
Don’t worry, Pardi, we haven’t let the consistent Pilates classes and gym sessions go unnoticed. But in case you haven’t been as tuned in to his recent social media antics, Pardi decided to show off his shirtless bod to the fans, making an impromptu appearance at Boots In The Park in Tucson this past weekend.
Last Sunday, October 18, Rillito Park welcomed fans for an epic one-day festival featuring none other than Corey Kent, Myles Morgan, The Wilder Blue, and Koe Wetzel, who opened up for Pardi as the main headliner. Welp, apparently Mr. Saturday night just couldn’t wait to get his ‘Pardi’ started, running out onto the stage during Koe’s set ahead of his performance of “Forever.”
Did I mention he was both shirtless AND barefoot? Quickly popping onto the stage to embrace Koe in a big bear hug before running back backstage, Koe exclaimed while being squeezed, like he knew Jon had some antics up my sleeve, “I told y’all motherf*ckers!” Wetzel didn’t seem too unfazed as he continued to lead into his rockin’ 2019 hit.
Luckily for fans who want to witness the California-native’s antics live for themselves, he’s slated to perform at Boots in the Park’s other massive three-day weekend this May in Albuquerque. And when I say the lineup is MASSIVE, it’s pretty d*mn massive.
Hitting the stage May 14-16, Pardi will join the likes of country music legends George Strait and Brooks & Dunn alongside Jason Aldean, Zach Top, Sam Barber, Avery Anna, Corey Kent, and the list goes on.
