One of the most random collaborations of 2024 thus far.
Every year hundreds of thousands of fans make their way to Nashville for the ultimate country music fan experience at CMA Fest. And just last weekend, the annual tradition continued with four days of non-stop performances from some of country’s biggest artists, as well as a plethora of newcomers working tirelessly to make a name for themselves in the crowded industry.
Among the most notable performances from the four-day event was Post Malone sharing the stage with Blake Shelton at Spotify House to perform their new collaboration, “Pour Me A Drink,” set to drop this Friday. Rapper/actor/punk rock singer/whatever he is now, Machine Gun Kelly, also showed up to perform a tribute to the Dixie Chicks (I’m team Eminem if you couldn’t tell), as well as performances from rising stars Zach Top, Megan Moroney, Wyatt Flores and more.
Perhaps one of the most unexpected performances during CMA Fest, however, came when HARDY joined Big & Rich to perform the duo’s iconic 2004 hit, “Save A Horse (Ride a Cowboy)” at Nissan Stadium.
Save A Horse” was released as the second single from the band’s debut studio album, “Horse of a Different Color,” and surprisingly enough never reached No. 1 at country radio, peaking just outside the top ten at No. 11.
Their performance, as well as performances from Cody Johnson, Luke Bryan, Jon Pardi, Keith Urban, Parker McCollum and more, will air on Tuesday, June 25th, at 8pm ET on ABC as part of CMA Fest’s annual televised special.
