“Something ‘Bout A Truck” singer Kip Moore is officially back, kicking off a new era defined by his authentic, outspoken brand of gritty country rock.
Building a name for himself as a staple of 2010s country with his hits like “Beer Money” and “Hey Pretty Girl,” the Georgia native just announced he is expanding on his discography of six studio albums with his latest upcoming project, Reason To Believe.
Marking his second album within two years following 2025’s Solitary Tracks, Moore returns with what he describes as a unique storytelling of his everyday thoughts in this May 29 release. Beckoning this new era in which Moore promises to release “more music than ever before,” he kick-started things with the high-energy release of his March 6 single, “Levee.”
The rockin’ track is a fearless open road motorcycle drive anthem that doesn’t hold back from Moore’s tough roots. In this album, he promises to expand on his passionate growling vocals with tracks that will touch on themes of grief, faith, and the weight of time. Namely, throughout the process, Moore lost his longtime mentor and first producer/songwriter, Brett James, which fueled much of the gritty sorrow and led to the title of the album, which is based on the eighth-track that James had long expressed as one of his favorites.
Tapping into his heart, the album will feature 13 tracks from fast-paced head bangers to much more vulnerable, slow tunes, as well as a few that he hopes will be a sense of touching comfort to his fans. Moore will also hit the road on his coinciding Reason To Believe World Tour, hitting stops across Australia, New Zealand, Europe, the United States, the United Kingdom, and revisiting his beloved South African fan base. Before heading out on his solo stops, he’ll also join Cody Johnson on tour, along with a co-headlining tour with Billy Currington throughout the summer.
