After giving her fans over three months to memorize all the words to her February 20 release, Cloud 9, Megan Moroney has officially hit the road on the album’s supporting tour.
Last night, Friday, May 29, the “Tennessee Orange” singer kick-started her 2026 headlining Cloud 9 World Tour in Columbus, Ohio. With a stacked lineup of 44 dates across the United States, the United Kingdom, and Europe, the crowd at the Schottenstein Center was in for a treat as the glitzy pink-ified country singer revealed the tour’s anticipated official setlist.
Of course, her fans reciprocated the energy, showing out in their pink attire as well, following the tradition of Moroney’s monochromatic-colored album covers. Debuting at number one on the Billboard top 200 chart during its first week, with 15 tracks (and two bonus tracks) Moroney admitted to the crowd that it was hard to narrow down her live picks, “This was the first tour where I had to cut several songs that I was sad about not playing, but there was a couple that I knew no matter what would make it so we’re gonna start with those.”
Opening the night with a surefire upbeat energy booster, “Stupid,” Moroney followed with hits from her recent project like “Medicine,” “Wedding Dress,” “Who Hurt You?,” and of course, “Cloud 9.” Throughout the show, she also paid homage to her previous two albums, throwing it back with classics like “Wonder,” “Tennessee Orange,” and “Bless Your Heart.”
Caving into her fans’ begging and pleading, Moroney also played her 2022 Pistol Made of Roses EP necessity, “Hair Salon”… but for all the diehard fans, don’t get your hopes up too soon, as it’s not a permanent addition. During the sixteenth song of the night, the Georgia-native ascended into a floating window sill and announced that during this portion of the show she would, “play whatever I want to every single night.”
Based on the upset reaction after Moroney revealed on her TikTok that this track would be cut from the setlist, she decided to gift opening night with the ultimate crowd pleaser. However, over the course of the tour, she may switch up the tracks and play other overlooked songs like her Ed Sheeran collaboration, “I Only Miss You,” or older songs like “Noah” and “Girl in the Mirror.”
Rounding out the opening night with last year’s tour namesake, “Am I Okay?” and her recently released bonus track “Sorry… I Meant Tonight,” Moroney tied a bow on the whole production with her lead radio-hit single, “6 Months Later.” With 23 songs overall throughout the show, it certainly set a precedent for a surefire rest of the year of touring, with Moroney returning to the stage tonight, May 30, in Indianapolis, IN.
While artists have been known to switch up the songs on a city-to-city basis, in general, here’s what to expect from Moroney throughout the rest of the Cloud 9 tour:
