Zach Bryan is catching strays left and right on Gavin Adcock’s 2026 tour.
I just know that somewhere in the crowd, a proud parent was hootin’ & hollerin’ after Adcock’s most recent on-stage call-out of the “Pink Skies” singer. And in Adcock’s defense, he himself didn’t spew any slander at Bryan this time around.
At this point, you’d think the Adcock-Bryan feud would be a long-gone fence-jumping memory of the past— but nope, the legacy lives on. Around this time last year in September, the rowdy boys went viral after Bryan attempted to hop a barbed-wire fence at the Born & Raised festival to confront Adcock after he had criticized Bryan online for being rude to a fan.
The brawl never truly got hashed out, considering no real physical fight even ensued once Adcock fled the scene to go perform his set. Let it be known, though, that Adcock— and a majority of his fans— still have a strong-held disdain for the folk-leaning Oklahoma native.
Being a Zach Bryan hater is so intertwined into the culture of Adcock’s fan base that he even has eight-year-olds these days up on stage screaming about how they hate Bryan. Over the weekend, Adcock performed in Newport, Kentucky at the MegaCorp Pavilion, where he invited a bunch of little Adcockers to jump up on stage (and while that’s an unofficial nickname, if Gavin would like to adopt it, I’m here for it).
Well, during this portion of the Saturday night, August 29 show, one of Adcock’s little mini-mes motioned for the country music singer to lend him the mic. You can see Adcock hesitate to let the kid take the reins, but he obliges, handing it over to the shirtless tot.
With his whole chest, the young fan proceeds to announce to the whole crowd, “F*ck Zach Bryan,” before promptly returning the microphone to Adcock. The crowd immediately erupts in supportive cheers, and as for Adcock…well, he was too stunned to speak.
I think half impressed with the kid and half regretting his decision to let him speak, Adcock just smiled in awe for a few seconds before high-fiving the boy. Lord, I think his parents already have their work cut out for themselves with this kid.
Adcock popped into the comment section of the now-viral TikTok moment to let everyone know “I didn’t not tell him to say that,” which could’ve either been a typo or him insinuating that he was in support of the statement all along (which, knowing Adcock, is much more likely).
At this point, the running bit of villainizing Zach Bryan on stage is just a tradition for the “Need To” singer, and I don’t doubt the remainder of his 2026 The Day I Hang It Up Tour will be filled with more moments like this. With a loaded schedule on the road ahead of him for the remainder of the year, he’ll return to the road next weekend on Friday, September 11, in Cleveland, Ohio, as he prepares for his coinciding October 2 album release.
