Fresh off his first new release in nearly two years with the single, “She Hates Me,” Dierks Bentley has just announced that he’s hitting the road this summer on the Broken Branches Tour, featuring none other than Zach Top as the primary opener.
This morning, Bentley took to Instagram to announce the tour:
The Broken Branches Tour will kick off on May 29 in Austin, Texas at the Moody Center before wrapping up on August 30 in Clarkston, Michigan. Along the way, Bentley will hit over 30 different cities including Los Angeles, Tulsa, Birmingham and New York at Madison Square Garden.
As previously mentioned, Zach Top, the hottest rising star in the genre, will serve as the primary opener with the bluegrass group, The Band Loula, also appearing as support throughout.
Discussing the tour, Bentley said, “I’m 20(ish) years into doing this, and I’ve seriously never been more excited about a tour.”
The “What Was I Thinking” singer also noted how excited he was to have Top out on the road with him again this year after playing shows with him in 2024, “We had Zach out for a few shows last summer, and I knew right away that we had to do more together. He loves the same kind of country music I do, and he’s got the bluegrass chops to hang with the best of ‘em in a jam. I’ve got a million ideas for the set list rolling around in my head. It’ll be fun to figure out how to make it all come to life with a new album and new production.”
Pre-sale codes are available now on Bentley’s fan club, “The Risers,” with general sale beginning this Friday, February 21st at 10 a.m. local time.
It should also be noted that Citi cardmembers will have access to presale tickets beginning Tuesday, Feb 18th at 10am local time until Thursday, Feb 20th at 10pm local time. For more information, visit here.
