Exciting news for Turnpike fans.
Earlier this morning, The Turnpike Troubadours announced they will be performing back-to-back shows at Oklahoma’s Paycom Center in January of 2024.
The two shows, played in their home state, will kick off on Friday, January 19th, and will also feature Charles Wesley Godwin and Jason Isbell as openers.
“Starting 2024 off with two special shows in our home state of Oklahoma. Friday January 19th + Saturday January at the Paycom Center in OKC, joined by our good friends Jason Isbell and The 400 Unit and Charles Wesley Godwin.”
Speaking of Turnpike and Isbell sharing the stage together, the two will also be opening a few shows for Zach Bryan’s The Quittin’ Time Tour next summer. You can view the dates here.
After a long six year hiatus, Turnpike released their first album, “A Cat In the Rain,” just two months ago and although there were other releases that dropped the same day that didn’t quite give Turnpike their moment, the album has been well received by most critics, even if it doesn’t truly live up to the impossibly high expectations that the band set with their first four records pre-hiatus.
Nonetheless, you should be hearing a little of everything from the bands entire discography when you see them in concert.
Presale will be available this Wednesday, October 11th, at 10:00am CT to those on Turnpike’s mailing list. General public ticket sales begin on this Friday, October 13th at 10am.
