You love to see it.
Although one could argue that Tyler Childers walked so that artists such as Zach Bryan could run, it appears the Appalachian singer/songwriter is finally having a “mainstream moment,” if you will.
Just last week, Childers was nominated for his first-ever CMT Award for Music Video of the Year with “In Your Love,” and now, according to country music chart insider, Chris Owen, the song has officially broke the top 40 on Mediabase country this week.
“In Your Love” by @TTChilders climbs 2 spots to #39 on Mediabase country this week.

Tyler’s first career top 40 hit at mainstream country radio.
Despite the controversy surrounding the music video for “In Your Love,” which became the first-ever country music video with a gay storyline to be released by a major label, this may be one of Tyler’s most beautiful songs to date. It currently boasts almost ten million views on Youtube and 73 million streams on Spotify, the highest of any track off his recent September release, “Rustin’ In The Rain.”
Although I highly doubt the song goes #1 (or even cracks the top ten), country radio mixing in prominent Appalachia artists isn’t bad for anyone. Although I truly believe Tyler could’ve had many hits off his massively successful 2017 album, “Purgatory,” better late than never, amirite? Check out the music video for In Your Love if you haven’t yet, below.
