To wrap up a highly successful year that included two brand new albums respectively, Miranda Lambert and Ella Langley recently took a trip to local Tractor Supply stores to provide local animal shelters with supplies for the holidays.
This year’s supply drive marks the third annual “Big Shop” hosted by Lambert’s nonprofit organization, MuttNation, which featured donations of everything from food, toys and leashes to local Nashville shelters.
For those unfamiliar with her nonprofit, Lambert founded it all the way back in 2009 with her mother Bev and has provided a plethora of different services such as adoption drives, grants for volunteer work at shelters, emergency disaster relief, donations to shelters and pet transport services.
Additionally, MuttNation played a key role in providing relief in Texas and Louisiana in 2017 after the devastating effects of Hurricane Harvey, rescuing dozens of animals that were caught in the wreckage.
Along with the donation, Lambert took to Twitter to share a video of herself and Langley shopping in Tractor Supply, picking out dog toys and food and dropping the supplies off at local animal shelters.
It should go without saying that Lambert and Langley are two of the buzziest female country stars in the genre right now with Lambert being arguably the queen of country music over the last two decades and Langley on the brink of stardom after recently earning her first-ever No. 1 at country radio with “you look like you love me” featuring Riley Green.
In the video, the “Over You” singer referred to Langley as her “sister in country music and in dog loving.” Watch it for yourself here:
