Good news Blake Shelton fans.
This morning it was officially announced that the country superstar and OG Voice coach will officially be making a return to the NBC hit singing competition show next week.
Shelton was a coach on The Voice for 13 years straight, appearing in 23 seasons alongside host, Carson Daly. He was replaced by Reba McEntire, who is wrapping up her second season and will be the only current coach brought back for season 26 when she joins The Voice alum and Blake’s wife, Gwen Stefani, along with newcomers Snoop Dogg and Michael Bublé.
To celebrate 25 seasons, The Voice will be bringing back Shelton, along with multiple other of its past coaches, Nick Jonas, Adam Levine, CeeLo Green, Niall Horan, Kelly Clarkson, and Jennifer Hudson.
“This show has changed my life in every way for the better, and it will always feel like home to me.”

While Shelton has stated multiple times that he has no plans to return to the singing competition show, he has admitted that there’s one scenario that would tempt him into coming back:
“If they were ever able to put together the original four coaches again, maybe [I’d return] for one season, a one-off. That would be fun for me and something I would be interested in doing.”
You can tune in to The voice finale live on Tuesday, May 21st at 9pm ET on NBC and streaming next day on Peacock.
