It was simpler back then. The 90’s were a strange time, but if they managed to do anything right, it was country music. The decade has become the hallmark for throwback country playlists, with artists such as Alan Jackson, Garth Brooks, and Shania Twain setting the tone. Unfortunately we aren’t getting any younger, and the 90’s are further away than they’ve ever been. Here’s a few songs that turn 30 years old in 2024. “Don’t Take the Girl”- Tim McGraw ’94 was the breakout of a young Tim McGraw, seeing the then 27 year old score the first of his…

I have so many questions. On Tuesday Morgan Wallen shared a new ad for Ryl Tea, his line of sweet tea, to his Instagram featuring popular Barstool Sports comedian, Caleb Pressley. Pressley’s inclusion might feel extremely random, but it doesn’t come out of nowhere. Wallen has appeared twice on Caleb’s popular “Sundae Conversation” series, garnering over 3 million views on YouTube between the two videos and spawning several viral clips in the process. One of country music’s most underrated stars. When you think of the top performing country artists of the 2010s, the obvious names probably come to mind: Blake Shelton, Luke Bryan, Jason Aldean. You and your buddies might have some good stories from a night out on the town, but when it comes to memories from the good old days, Tim McGraw and Kenny Chesney might just take the cake. The details are still somewhat foggy, but the incident took place back way back in 2000 in Buffalo, New York. Kenny and Tim at that time were two of the biggest country stars on Earth, and had just finished performing at the George Strait Country Music…

Billboard recently released their Country Update for this past year, a compilation of all of Billboard’s data regarding country music for 2023. In it, they released the statistics on the biggest tours of the year, and it’s no surprise who was on top. Morgan Wallen’s One Thing At A Time tour was the top grossing country tour of the year, bringing in a whopping $260 million dollars in gross revenue across 44 stops. Over 1.3 million people attended a Wallen show in 2023, coming out to an average of over 30,000 per show. Interestingly, Wallen didn’t have the highest total…

On Tuesday Hardy took to Instagram to make some announcements regarding his upcoming music. He revealed that he will be releasing a new single this Friday titled “Rockstar,” as well as dropping a full rock album sometime before his “QUIT!!” tour kicks off in May. Hardy also confirmed that “Rockstar” will be on the new record, which feels fitting given the apparent subject matter. The new single comes less than a month after his previous surprise release “QUIT!!” earlier this year. Along with the announcement, Hardy shared what appears to be the album art for the new single, which features…
